The profession of independent chartered accountant is governed by Law No. 3568 and the professional rules of the Union of Chambers of Certified Public Accountants (TÜRMOB).
Limits of responsibility
The client is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of documents provided. The accountant performs entries and returns based on the documents supplied; penalties arising from missing or incorrect documents belong to the client. Losses arising from the accountant's own fault are covered by professional liability insurance.
Confidentiality
Every piece of information and document belonging to the client is a professional secret. Data is used only for statutory notifications (tax office, SGK, Trade Registry).
Service agreement
All services are provided under a written agreement that does not undercut the TÜRMOB minimum fee tariff. The contract states the scope, the filing calendar and document delivery times.
What we expect from clients
- Documents uploaded to the portal by the 5th of each month
- Complete bank and POS statements
- Employee start and leave dates reported before the work begins
- Notices from the tax office and SGK shared the same day
